Slaughterhouse Releases “She Will” Remix (Audio/Download):

Odd Future Previews Their Loiter Squad TV Show (Video):

Yesterday we wondered whether the supremely weird music video for Odd Future’s  “Rella” was any indication of what we would see from the group’s upcoming Adult Swim TV show Loiter Squad. Well today, seemingly in answer to our query, Adult Swim has released two small previews of the sketch show.  Laden with expletives, ridiculous premises, and silly wigs, the show, which premieres on March 25, appears to be a perfect fit for the network. Pop-folk trio, Sucré, consisting of Eisley singer,  Stacy Dupree-King, her husband and drummer for MUTEMATH, Darren King and composer Jeremy Larson,  recently filmed a music video in the abandoned zoo in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park.  The video was shot as a project for Invisible Children, an organization that strives to elimate abduction of children in Uganda.  In the past, the organization has had such notable musical collaborators as Mumford and Sons, Nada Surf, Death Cab for Cutie and Deer Tick.

J. Cole just celebrated a ripe 2 million twitter fans!  To repay loyal fans, the “Work Out” rapper has just dropped a new single, “Grew Up Fast”. He “brought back soul” because it got “way too electro” with this track that samples former Temptation David Ruffin’s 1969 record, “The Double Cross.”

Bonus 4: The songs are all great, and honestly, I’m surprised the band has seen fit to include some of my favorite tunes as well as some of their biggest (relatively) hits on a free sampler. There is also a tip slider there, and if you dig the tracks and can afford to, drop a couple of bucks to support this band. They sure as hell deserve it.

Jack White reveals cover art, track listing for Blunderbuss

The album drops April 24.

Jack White has raised the curtain on some more vital details for his upcoming solo album. You can find the cover art above, and the tracklisting below. How convenient!

The cover art is fairly standard, moody and pensive (but come on, it’s Jack White, what do you expect?), and the tracklisting confirms that the LP will be 13 songs strong. Check it out on April 24.

Crystal Castles releases video for Suffocation

It’s very…vogue.

In collaboration with Vs. Magazine, Crystal Castles has released a video for their song Suffocation.

Now, the first thing you need to know about this is that Vs. Magazine is not a magazine for Mixed Martial Arts/Ultimate Fighting Championship/World Wrestling Entertainment aficionados. So if you, like me, were expecting a tag team match between Crystal Castles, and, I don’t know, Cults, with everyone wearing singlets and themed Lucha Libre masks, you’re in for a slight letdown. There are no elbow drops or suplexes or hurricanranas here.  No, Vs. Magazine is a fashion mag, and the video for Suffocation features Crystal Castles’ Alice Glass wearing a bunch of cool clothes, presumably designed by people who do not watch pro wrestling.  Click the link below to check it out.

Man, now that tag team match is all I can think about.  Get on that for the next video, guys.

As the music world knows, Joey Ramone, may he rest in peace, left behind a legacy as one of the pioneers of Punk music, who put out quality solo material along with fronting The Ramones, of course.  We lost Ramone to lymphoma in 2001, but now in 2012 we can expect to hear unreleased demo tracks on an upcoming post-humous album, entitled, Ya Know?  The album, which comes out May 17th, will feature 17 tracks, including ’Rock & Roll Is the Answer’, ‘New York City’ and ‘Waiting for That Railroad’ according to Rolling Stone. Overdubs on the album will come from some of music’s greats, most notably Joan Jett, Steven Van Zandt of Springsteen’s E Street Band, and members of Cheap Trick.
