French Montana Speaks About Shooting
As much as French Montana may rap about violence or gunplay in his music, the Bad Boy Records rapper insists that he had absolutely nothing to do with the Philadelphia shooting early Friday morning that left one man dead and another one hospitalized.
The shooting took place outside of Montana’s tour bus late last night after his concert at the Theatre of the Living Arts. The vehicle was said to have been a black four-door sedan that pulled up while the passenger from the car fired multiple shots. The man who has been fatally wounded has been identified as Jowann king, 26, from Flushing, New York.
“My bus was located in the vicinity of the incident that took place away from the venue, last night in Philadelphia,” Montana said in a personal statement. “I had a peaceful concert and was not involved. My deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to the families of the victims, as well as all of those who were affected.”
