John Mayer Returns
In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone, John Mayer revealed the details of his recent media disappearance, his new voice, dating Katy Perry and plans of a summer tour. John Mayer’s absence from the limelight was because of a granuloma in his throat that prevented him from singing.
“There was not a lot of hope,” said Mayer, “…cancer would have been easier to get rid of,” (via Rolling Stone).
A second surgery in August repaired Mayer’s voice and got him back on the road to perform in Bozeman, Montana, (his first show in two years), in a benefit for firefighters that put out wildfires that destroyed thousands of acres close to Mayer’s home.
