Kendrick Lamar starts the new year off right with the long anticipated first visual from good kid, m.A.A.d city: “Backseat Freestyle.” Working to illuminate the details that made his debut album so special, Kendrick travels between Compton and Paris, France with co directors JeromeD and Dave Free, showing off character’s like Kendrick’s Dad and Sherrane while also visiting the Eiffel Tower to bring a brash lyric to life.
