A definite throwback, Cults‘ hit song You Know What I Mean finally gets a proper video.
The arc of the video follows members of a carnival. Cults‘ guitarist, Brian Oblivion, portrays a daredevil that botches a stunt, causing vocalist Madeline Follin to take care of him. It’s sad, yes, but the melancholy tone of the video finds an odd-yet-fitting match with the ballad.
