Chris Rock is Inspired by Watch The Throne Tour, Wants to Tour With Dave Chappelle:
Chris Rock chatted with the entertainment blog Vulture about his idea to do a joint tour with fellow mega comedian Dave Chappelle. Though the possibility of a tour has been mulled around before, it gained new life when Rock saw Jay-Z and Kanye West perform on the Watch The Throne tour:
“I’ve been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour. You know I’m not the hard one laughing. But I’m trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, ‘Me and Dave should do this.”
