Beyonce Eulogizes Etta James Via Her Blog:
With the passing of Soul Icon Etta James yesterday (read about it here), it is only fitting that vocalists across the globe pay their respects and express their gratitude for all the woman had done to influence soul and r&b music. Megastar Beyonce is one such vocalist; readers may recall that the singer/actress took on the role of Ms. James for the movie Cadillac Records. Beyonce paid tribute to the “At Last” singer with a post on her blog, and a videos her cover of “At Last” from Live Fashion Rocks in 2008.
