Last night (January 17, 2011) Nneka performed to showcase music from her new album. The new album is called “Soul Is Heavy” and Nneka played an intimate, invite only – acoustic set in conjunction with Decon & Giant Step at NYC’s Cielo performing songs from the upcoming LP .
The new album “Soul Is Heavy” drops on February 28th and it’s sure to please music lovers. Nneka’s music is a powerful – enlightening combination of reggae, rock, soul and Afrobeat dub.
