Last February, Bruno Mars pleaded guilty of cocaine possession after being charged last September at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Now, the pop superstar has gotten the charges cleared and the case dismissed.
After pleading guilty, the judge had postponed acceptance of the guilty plea and sentenced him to probation, 200 hours of community service, and a $2000 fine. Now, Peter Gene Hernandez’s lawyers (yes, that’s his real name) have gotten the case dismissed on good behavior.
Attorney Blair Berk states:
“Bruno earned the dismissal, he exceeded the expectations of the court.”
The pop star is looking clean as ever, having performed on Sesame Street just a few months ago. Additionally, he is up for six GRAMMY noms at this year’s 54th Annual Show.
