Sigur Rós to curate public art contest
More news from the blissed-out band.
The special edition version of Sigur Rós’s film Inni included a special ream of photo-sensitive paper. Apparently, the idea is that the fans can make their own art on the paper, and then submit it online as part of a contest.
Voting will take place online, and the top selections will go on to the band itself, who will choose the winner. The winning artist will receive 815 dollars, and have his or her piece of art featured on a piece of band merchandise. Submissions for the contest close on February 29.
