Lupe Fiasco Announces Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album and New Album with Pharrell:

After dropping the excellent mixtape Friend of The People last month (do yourself a favor and download it here), Lupe Fiasco keeps the momentum going with an huge announcement: This year he plans to drop the sequel to his classic 2006 album Food & Liquor, as well as a joint album with super producer Pharrell. He made the announcement via his website, lupefiasco.com, leading fans to wonder if the Pharrell and Lupe joint project is a way to make up for the failed Child Rebel Soldiers album (the joint album between Lupe, Pharrell, And Kanye West).  Either way, 2012 promises dope music from Mr. Fiasco, and as it drops CollegeDJ will be there to cover it.  Let us know what you think of Lupe’s announcement and new projects @DubJ, @CollegeDJ, and LIKE and comment this post on Facebook.
