After a LONG hiatus (we’re talking since 2007′s Wincing the Night Away), James Mercer led indie-rock band, The Shins is finally giving us the low-down on their upcoming fourth album, Port of Morrow.

Suprisingly, the album will mark the band’s first release on Columbia Records, marking the Shins’ departure from long-time label, Sub-Pop.  Producer Greg Kurstin, who has worked with both Foster The People and the Flaming Lips is also responsible for the production of Port of Morrow.

Ooo, and look a tracklist!

Tracklist For Port Of Morrow:
01. The Rifle’s Spiral
02. Simple Song
03. It’s Only Life
04. No Way Down
05. September
06. Bait And Switch
07. Fall Of ’82
08. For A Fool
09. 40 Mark Strasse
10. Port Of Morrow

Will the New Mexico-based Alt. Rock band regain their fame of the earlier 2000′s?
