Rock Album Of The Year is the Foo Fighters’ 8th LP.
Foo Fighters are the CollegeDJ Equaluzar Award 2011 pick for the number 1 rock band album of the year. Rock music had a good year with bands like The Black Keys and Foo Fighters making new music that appealed to a wide audience. The Foo Fighters’ Wasting Light was a solid comeback after a 4 year hiatus from their last album Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace in 2007.
Videos from Wasting Light generated significant interest in the group and solidified Dave Grohlss rock and roll leadership as a creative musician.
