It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the boys of The All-American Rejects. But, thankfully the wait is over with a song called “Someday’s Gone”, which now has a somewhat demented, very punk-rock holiday video to accompany it.
The video features lead singer, Tyler Ritter, first being pet by many hands, then being chewed out and left by a crazy ex-girflriend, then being punched out and hit by many hands. The band comments on the vid:
“We wanted to give fans an early candy cane for the holidays and this song is the teeth of the record. The video, directed by Jon Danovic, was conceived in one day and shot the next day in one take. Hope it bites you and gives you a mark.”
The band plans to release their next album some time in 2012, so this is just a little holiday preview of what’s to come.
